Predict Whether I’ll Like a Restaurant A hybrid recommendation system that predicts how a user will rate a business using Yelp data. It combines item-based collaborative filtering with Pearson similarity and an XGBoost model.

How Should I Live My Life? I trained an LSTM text model on Bertrand Russell’s writing to see whether a recurrent neural network could produce philosophy. This was before LLMs made generated prose commonplace. Its best attempt at existential wisdom was “hghahahghg ghaihf shshshs.”
